3. Traditional Folk House

The house is said to have been built in the first half of the 18th century. It is like a 'time travel' journey, giving a glimpse of the way of life in those days.
Even more exciting than the house is the handmade monorail.
Initially used for transporting materials, the monorail has been converted into a passenger masterpiece.
It has a maximum gradient of 43 degrees and, due to the steep incline, takes about 10 minutes to climb the 450 m length.
The number of rails has been increased to ensure safe operation, but It will be surprised by the sheer gradient when riding it. It will be surprised at the steepness of the incline.

5. Kanotoiwa Rock

The area is famous as a power spot in western Tokyo. Kanoto-iwa, a natural monument of the Metropolitan Government, is an unusual sight with 100 m high rock formations rising on both sides, and the exposed strata from 250 million years ago are to have created the mysterious landscape.
The name 'Kanoto-iwa' comes from the feeling of a half-opened rock door. The Ontake Shrine is located in the direction of the extension of the backcountry, as seen through the gap from the lower part of the rock. Thus, it is regarded as the entrance to the Shinto shrine.
The door rock on the right (southeast side) is about 100 m high and 40 m wide at the top, while the gorge section is about 60 m long and 4 m wide at the valley bottom.
The clear stream of the Kanoto River runs down the narrow, corridor-like valley, echoing off the bedrock. There is a boardwalk along the stream, which can walk with chains. The return journey can walk back through a forest road tunnel, but the curved tunnel has dark sections for several meters, so care must be taken with footing.
