What You Can Expect

Meet us at Musashi-Itsukaichi station (JR Itsukaichi line) in Tokyo.

A Mountain Forest Exploration

You can explore a mountain forest in Hinohara Village where wild spicebush and other wild plants are grown with the nature guide. 

You will also learn about those plants and if possible the panoramic view of the village can be found while exploring there.

Experience the Spicebush Workshop

You can make your original goods using the spicebush and take them home as a souvenir.

-  Spicebush distilling to make the herbal water

In the Evening at Foresting Cottage

You will make pizza at the cottage for dinner.  

Aromatic herbs picked from the forest will be used as a topping on your pizza.

Visit a Traditional Folk House, Hidden Gorge and WaterFalls

A small monorail car takes us to the historical architecture located at an altitude of 750 meters.

The vehicle slowly goes up a steep slope and it's so exciting.

The gorge is designated as a natural monument of Tokyo.

Visitors can enjoy climbing on the rocks along the river while holding onto a chain.

The waterfall is one of the major spots in the village and has been known as one of "Japan's 100 Best Waterfalls.

・There are no beds in the cottage. Futon will be prepared for each for sleeping.

・Due to weather conditions or natural disasters, we could cancel the event.

When we cancel the event, we will refund all the costs you paid.

・ If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know when you book.

Participation is subject to confirmation of the following：

- You must not have been diagnosed with symptoms similar to those of the novel Coronavirus within two weeks of the date of participation

- No close contact with a person infected with the novel Coronavirus within two weeks of the date of participation

- Do not have a body temperature of 37.5°C or higher, or cold symptoms, and do not feel ill on the day of participation

*All participants will be asked to submit the pre-consultation check sheet and to measure body temperature in order to prevent the spreading of COVID-19 at the first check-in.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel at least 14 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee.

If you cancel between 8 and 13 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee.

If you cancel within 7 day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
